Thermal imaging is a comprehensive scanning of the entire structure for issues that cannot be seen simply by a visual inspection. With this invaluable tool we have the ability see beyond the limited scope of a non-invasive home inspection. During a typical inspection, the inspector can only report any issues within the home that are visible. A thermal camera uses infrared technology and can sense minor changes in surface temperatures which gives our inspectors, who are trained in this technology, the ability to spot a number of issues that may be present in a home. The pictures below show examples of what a thermal camera is capable of detecting which could save a home buyer hundreds to thousands of dollars down the line in repair costs. We highly recommend this service as it really allows us to take the inspection to another level of thoroughness and potentially let us see issues that may be missed during a typical visual/non-invasive inspection.
